***Our Fees***
Registration for our 2013 season is now open! Our fees are the most competitive and transparent in Rancho Penasquitos:

Registration includes NEW football gear (Helmet & Pads) for each player, practice & game uniforms for both Football and Cheer.
Xenith Helmets
As part of WYFC's commitment to excellence and safety we are bringing Xenith Helmets to Youth Football for the first time ever in Rancho Penasquitos. Please read their story here! Because not all helmets fit every player perfectly, WYFC will offer the latest in safety, comfort and technology from two of the top manufactures in the youth helmet industry.
Our clinics scheduled for January 27, 2013 went extremely well! The weather allowed the Westview High cheerleaders, the YMCA's coaches and M.A.D.E. Sportz the opportunity to provide incredible instruction to all those in attendance. We collected a generous amount of food for deposit to benefit The San Diego Food Bank. We have one more day set for Saturday, February 2. Check in is at 1:30 for cheer and 2:00 for the Inclined speed clinic. Instruction will be in the WVHS stadium. Don't forget to bring your canned food item!

Mission Statement
The mission of Wolverine Youth Football and Cheer (WYFC) is to promote a positive and safe environment that enables our youth to learn the fundamentals of football and cheerleading in a structured setting. WYFC believes in the concept of “Attitude is Everything” which gives our youth members a strong foundation to great character and good sportsmanship. Young football players and cheerleaders are taught at WYFC that success on and off the field will come from dedication, solid teamwork, and above all – a positive attitude. It is our mission that all coaches and staff lead by example and teach positive lessons such as playing by the rules and the value of leadership. WYFC promotes the value of healthy competition and embraces the concept that winning is not only based on the final score. WYFC exists to make participation in youth football and cheer ALL-INCLUSIVE by not excluding participants based on superficial factors such as weight, athletic ability, or financial reasons.
SAFE PLAYING ENVIRONMENT
- WYFC demands that all members of the organization put player safety first ahead of all other motivation.
- WYFC provides the latest football and cheer equipment with player safety in mind. Players, Parents, and Guardians are provided ongoing instruction on the proper fitting and usage of issued equipment.
- Our football players are matched in an age/grade based format which allows them to compete with their own peer group and avoid playing in an older but lighter (OBL) situation that can be dangerous.
- Our coaches are carefully selected and required to adhere to strict safety standards as set forth by American Youth Football and WYFC.
- Our organization works with local health providers and national organizations to identify and be prepared for potential injuries.
- WYFC promotes the value of physical fitness by staying active and involved with youth sports.
SCHOLASTICS
- WYFC is committed to promoting the importance of education and scholastic achievement.
- This program encourages and requires participants to perform well in school and practice leadership skills both in the classroom and on the field.
- WYFC believes that learning is not limited to only players and therefore requires coaches and staff to attend safety training and instructional clinics.
- We are proud to be a part of the largest youth football community in the World - American Youth Football (AYF). AYF serves over one million members in all 50 states and serves several countries worldwide. In addition, AYF is proud to be a National Youth Partner of the NFL.
